Maybe Jess & Jace did. I kno jace has his camera on him and was taking a few pics.

Its the first vw show in ages, even if we got there really late in the day.

Took my baby boy, spent heaps of time chasing him Until I bought him a car, then he let me check out some real bugs...lol

I loved the "my bug" one. So nice. 馃憤

Thanks to everyone who came along on Sunday. Despite the weather doing its best of dampen our spirits (pun intended 馃榾), we still had a fantastic turn-out. Apparently, throughout the time we were at the show, it was pouring with rain in all the surrounding suburbs, but somehow we only had a couple of light sprinkles which were so light that they didn't even have people moving toward cover.

Congratulations to all the trophy winners (and please accept my apologies for the slightly confused presentation 馃槉 - we have already taken steps to ensure that that does not occur again next year!)

I will have the winners details up on our club website as soon as I recieve the paperwork back from Craig (should be later this week)... however, as I spent most of the day drawing raffle tickets and arguing with a fussy CD player I didn't get any pics of the show. Would anyone be willing to allow our club to use their pics on our website? (Please PM me with your answers - thanks)

Thanks again everyone - and see you again next year...

I must have turned up too late after lunch, not many of the pictured cars were left there....but I was still fairly impressed with the turnout, so must have been much better in the morning!

Around 10am was when we had the most number of vehicles in the show area. A vehicles began leaving around 11:30am when we got the first minor sprinkle of rain. It was a very impressive turn out considering the weather - a shame you missed it - there is always next year! 馃榾

Does anyone have a shot or shots of the line-up when most of the cars were there (between 10 and 11:30)?

Did a Kombi jam once on a camp with teenagers and rules were that everyone had to be in the car in 1 minute. Record for the camp was 54 in 1 minute with all doors and windows closed!!!!

The windows fogged up really quickly and the smell when we opened the car up was not good to say the least...

Congrats Vickie and Rich on your win.
You guys have spent a lot of time and hard work into your bug and its good to see you're getting some recognition in return for your hard work with a top placing. Great work guys on producing a hot bug.

And congrats to everyone else that participate, no matter if you won a prize or not. you all made it from what we saw getting there late 馃榾, another good show.

Loved your car. We got there late (tagged with jess n jace) so I sw it while it was almost outside. It was definately my favorite. The attention to detail was so well done.

Finally being able to see some of the rides in the flesh was good.

And I agree with jess n jace. Great show. My son loved it (especially the ballon he had me chasing most of time we were there. lol) Seeing every car was like a new experience for him. And all the beetles were 'herbie' and he wanted to hug them.

Cept the yellow one. it was broken apparently...
