I now have in stock forged cro-moly drop spindles to suit K&L and BJ front suspensions priced @ $ 300 a set . These are only available to suit drum brakes so it is necessary to use a bolt on bracket to use a disc and caliper. These will lower the front end by 2 1/2'' without changing any suspension geometry and can be used with any type of tie rod end mounted on the top or bottom. These spindles are forged and are much stronger than the cast units currently available , ROD , 02-42729920............I have a shippment of these cro-moly drop spindles arriving in the next few weeks to suit disc brakes . The first order got stuffed up and only the drum brake units arrived , ROD.

I'm a bit of nube, so why can't we get them for disk? Why make a nice part like this and then use drums?

Do you have the brackets for disks?

Yes Rod can also do you a deal on a wide 5 (Your early stud pattern) Disc brake kit that will bolt straight on to these stub axles.
Give him a ring , as he's great to deal with and will give you some tips for your 1916 no dought

You can.
The market in Australia is a fraction of what it is in America.
Rod brings stuff in.

Sadly we dont have the luxury of AC.net, CB, Berg, CIP1, Rocky Mountain etc etc

This time he has brought in dropped spindles for drums

The smaller market is a bit of a pain, but so it trying to deal with the US. It is good that people like Rod go to the effort of importing to benefit the likes of us.

These have to be better than the cast CB Performance junk.

I had the CB ones until some scrutineers at a supersprint showed me how the arm that goes to the tire rod flexed by hand.

It make a lot of sense to lower the car but keep the steering arms close to the factory angle. That way you still get suspension movement and a compliant front suspension.

I uses the welded stock ones from Custom Bugs and Busses. The're great. But sadly they don't make them anymore.

My 2 cents. CT

For anyone who's interested. I just bought a set of these yesterday. They will go on this arvo and look to be a very good piece of kit. They are one piece (not welded together like some) and a really good cast. They are also set up for new or old tie rod ends and they can go up or down.

Highly recommended gear.

Cheers,
