You figure they might at least clean it for $450!. You can get a pair of genuine brand spankin new pre76 porsche 911 H4 entire headlight assemblies from pelican parts for less money. I am going to get a set to put the HID upgrade into for my bug once its on the road again.

A pair went for $270 on eBay late last year. When I saw that I listed a pair of mine for $250 when ebay had their free listing promotion in December - and I got two questions. One bloke telling me I was dreaming and the other guy wanted more photos. I emailed the photos off and he bought them.
VW bits are going for ridiculous prices at the moment, and I can't see them dropping any time soon (but $450 for these may be a bit optimistic.)

He wants $2250 for some Design 90 Porsche rims + $270 freight and then I guess you would also need to pay customs and duty as well. Ebay's good if you keep your gead on straight, saw a wood plane on recently that went for $20 more than buying direct from manufacturer (high end top quality tool) and then had to add freight on top, makes ya wonder if they did their reserch.
