What's the good one then?

thats right wich is the best one to buy !!!!!!!!!!!

buy the one that goes from the gearbox forks straight to the shock towers...............the cheaper ones go from the forks up to the cross brace (bar between the shocks). I tried one of these and it still had 'tramp' as it was flexing the bar.
I'm currently fabricating a setup which will be fully race proven and sold as a bolt up kit.
Will let you know in a couple of weeks.

Hi Craig
When you said "buy the one that goes from the gearbox forks straight to the shock towers...............the cheaper ones go from the forks up to the cross brace (bar between the shocks)" did you mean that the braces going up joined the cross brace too far inboard from the shock towers.

Yeah that's right Steve, not only do they mount further in but the tubing is of smaller guage.................the one that you have photo's for is the "good" one ! That's what I'd like to make but out of aluminium

Hi Craig
I've thought of using tie rods as the rods, but they may flex. The one I posted is a 5 bar one, are you doing 3 or 5 bar ones.

Will do both. I really want to have it bolt in.........so I guess the 5 bar one will need to weld in. Its also hard to come up with a way to locate it to the shock tower without cutting the body, but I'm working on it !
The one you have posted needs the body work to be cut for it to be installed.
Re the ends, I'm having custom clevis joints made up in RH and LH threads so the bar can be adjusted in length.(clevis joints from Rocket are $51 each!)
Is that an overseas photo ?

Hi Craig
Most I've seen weld in at the frame horn and near the IRS pivot box. Most also have a funny mount near the shock to clear body work.
