burnt beetle at newy

My mum rang me today to see if I knew anyone that owned a green beetle maybe a super that was on the side of the road at Tomago with the interior burnt and smashed windows. Very sad to hear🙁 . Just a reminded to check the fuel lines.

What time of day was that? I work at Tomago and didn't see anything. There is a good chance it was stolen and dumped...there are some interesting people that live in the caravan park at Tomago!

I reckon if it was burnt it wasn't the fuel lines as it was ok the two days I saw it, looked kinda nice in an original sorta way, had a set of hotwires, bloody vandles I reckon but then why would someone leave it on the side of the road for so long, easy enough to get it towed, there is a tray truck available cupla K's up the road.

Is it still there? Anything worth saving...? Assuming we can find the owner, of course

I work at Tomago as well, where about do you work? Havn't seen the beetle though. But yeah we get people breaking in just about every week pinching copper.

It's gone someone must have moved it Fri arvo.

Just found out someone torched the "bugalugs" beetle at East Maitland, also last week. This was the beetle often parked on the Highway advertising the bugalugs childcare center. It was red with black "bugs" painted on it.
