WTB: Rubber Floor Mats for '54 Oval- Surely someone must know where to find??

Dear All,

I am looking for a complete set of rubber floor mats, front and back, for a '54 Beetle.

Does anyone have some, or have any leads as to where I may be able to find some?

No one makes repro's as yet. Have tried for some time. Best bet is to buy some LHD ones and modify them barely noticable if youo can do it right. I know of 3 sets 2 are NOS. The ones that are for sale are $500 and I dunno if I will buy em yet so sorry no can tell. If I decide not to go ahead I'll let you know.

I can't believe that these aren't produced by someone!

George doesn't have any, have contacted Wolfsburg West and they don't manufacture.

Keep me posted guys on developments/opportunites as described on this thread.

Mate I was in discussions with a few guys in the states as to getting a limited run made, its only the cutout for the pedal cluster for fecks sake but it all turned cold. If I sort something out somewhere I'll let you know. Check out thesamba.com few RHD guys on there were also trying to get some together to get made. You'll have more luck over there power in numbers buddy.

I have a 54 that is going to be wrecked/ parted out. It has a lot of parts, the door panels and seats i know are good, not checked the rubber mats, will look over the weekend and let you know.
