When I was there there was nothing remotely VW to be seen - just lots and lots and lots of scooters all beeping... 😵

yeah yr right we have been out all day in the traffic it just dosent stop for a minute
there are 20 million people here in Saigon and there are 25 million bike / scooters all beeping and on the road at the same time
THERE R NO TRAFFIC RULES except they give way to us in the mini bus
still NO VW stuff in any shape or form starting to get withdrawls

i even found a few beetles over here in Turkey, so in a place that makes stainless bumpers for VWs you should be able to find at least one!!!

Great stuff Dave, have a blast. I've always wanted to go to Vietnam. My father and uncle, recon I may have a few half brothers and cousins over there after the war.

I saw one beetle in Hanoi it was orange and low as i recall,been all over only old cars are citroens 🥲

Well i am BACK had a hoot great country and developing very fast
well my total count of VWs in Cambodia and Vietnam was 2
I spoted to new Beetles parked i think i gota pic of one
no others sighted and i think we did about 1000 klms in busses and 7 cities
i did how ever count about 220 million motor cycles they are every where

have a look at Hoian near Da Nang in the middle and go to Ha long bay 180klms from Hanoi very nice
