Does the standard VW front sway bar help??

https://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/threads/69170/does-the-standard-vw-front-sway-bar-help

I haven't had a sway bar on for a year or so
since i hit something in My yard amnd broke it...

I have another one with now rubbers and clamps to fit
also new camber adjusters to fit..

Does the sway bar stop one wheel from going up under the guard when going up a steep gutter/ driveway
when the opposite wheel goes Down...

I don't want to buy a new aftermarket sway bar..

Yes stocko sway bar will help especially if you are running around without one. anything will make a difference.

The front stabiliser bar aids directional stability and reduces the tendency to oversteer or spin out, by increasing the front roll stiffness. (body roll whilst cornering)

Good thing to have on the streetz.

The ricer boys spend big bux on custom sway bars for that purpose.

I know how they work

I want to know if the very small beetle swaybar stops the opposite wheel from going up or down..
[in relation to the otherside]

Early beetles never had sway bars.....
or steering dampers..

Many people don't run shock absorbers on the front due to a narrowed beam...
[now that is dangerous...]

You want one? I got a standard one here...

68AutoBug ·

thanks for the offer but I do have one

It looks like i'll have to fit it, and see how it goes...

but I have new front camber adjusters to fit first..

when one front wheel is pushed up , it grabs the Car bra
[doesn't happen very often]
and i don't want to have the front suspension any higher
so, wondering whether the sway bar [anti roll] will help fix the problem...

cheers
