Can anyone give me some tips on removing the side windows from a 72 squareback. I Just picked up a pair of popout back windows from the nationals that im keen to install. I have removed the chrome strip but what now.???

Dont be scared to push really hard. Get insdie, helps if someone is outside to catch! Pull back a corner from inside and start pushing there, it should start to peel and keep moving around the glass. I am giving this advice assuming the same as a Fasty and is a solid rubber with chrome trim.

u need 2 people one on the outside to catch the window wearing saftey glasses just incase it shatters

U get on the inside of the car laying down on the rear seat and using yr joggers on yr feet push gently against the inside of the glass applying pressure on one of the corners it will pop out

You DONt have to remove the chrome trim

Makes it much easier to go around the inside lip of the rubber and lift it up to break the seal. Only half the force to push them out and much safer.

Once you have them out you have a little more to do than screw the popouts in. You need the hinges for the B pillar as well.

yeah be careful foing it, 1500S's advice about breaking the seal is a good one and safety googles won't go astray.... (speaking from experiance... i showered a mate in glass!!)
