WTD- Calipers and Bumpers

Hi,

Iam looking for the following items, pickup within 1.5hrs of brissy (ie to the border, sunshine coast or toowomba)

1. ATE Twin Pin Calipers- Fair to good condition - IE the pistons just need a clean to get working. Must have them by the 6th of June. Briss Dubba is looking for these atm on one of his spare cars. But any other offers I will take.

2. Bumpers- front and rear, any model (prefer late), but no towel rails. Chrome condition fair to good, small to medium dings (or repairable) ok. No rust holes. These will be stripped and painted, so surface rust ok.

Price for both - Free is best, but will disscuss upon condition.

could be a split kombi due to towels
with disc conversion ?

Its all for a super, thoiugh bumpers for any beetle are fine, as will be custom brackets....

Hi

Try to find some early Type 3 callipers, they are twin pin like 72 supers but 42 mm pistons rather than 40 mm. You can pick them externally by the single bleed screw, the bug ones have twins. The larger pistons give a little more bite.
