bad accident on the news Scone

unfortunatley there was a purple baja in an accident near scone today and both occupants were killed as well as there dogs ,,i hope it was no one from here ,,,,,,,jas

Saw on the news tonight there was a bad accident with a vw sedan & a truck at a intersection at Scone....
Had a tarp over the car as the peope were killed & there pet dogs as well ...all the news would say it was a vw sedan...
But the bit of car they filmed looked like blue 70's rear spoiler of a convertable whale tail or something...
Hoping its no one on here...
can anyone shed some light/info on this??
