Used Touareg Question

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone here has experience with Touaregs. I've got a friend that is keen on buying a 2-3 yr old one and is wondering if there is anything in particular to look out for, recurring problems or any experience good or bad that current owners have had.

OK..............I know a couple of people that have had problems with the transmissions in the v10's..........don't know about the v6's though.

Mate was looking an i suggested a Tourag

For the torque he ended up with the new turbo diesel Toyota

The Tourag do have some issues in the V10 transmissions and the V6's just dont cut it

Hi

I have blue & white blood like the rest of the people on this forum, but after talking to the people that work on these things, buy anything but a toe rag, maybe a Toyota.

I had a V6 tor rag for a weekend, it went better than my Prado but was no better anywhere else.

Hmmmm, the Toureg was going to be my first purchase when we won Lotto (of course, that would be after my Kombi was dropped off to Alan at Das Resto Haus for a complete overhaul!!). Maybe not now. Will stick with the Toyota we already have. 🙁

Hey thanks for that folks.......I've never seen a person more turned off than when he saw this thread. He's gonna keep his 8 yr old ML Merc and buy the newer model in a years time.
