If it wasn't a Volkswagen then what other wheeled wonder of love you pour all your heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into owning?
For me I'd be madly in love with the T-bucket.

Have to say I love the Shelby and the Chevs. Have a soft spot for the BSA too. Love the Trumpy sound of the old skool bikes like Norton, Ducati, BSA and Triumph.

If ya really twist my arm, I'd settle for a 1930's AJS. Dodgy electrics and all. Damn fine BSA!😎
68AutoBug ·
the BSA looks great
rare one too..
Rose,
You wouldn't be able to see over the engine..
so You will have to stick to rear engined cars... lol

This will do it to me everytime. 6 seats, so it could become the people mover if we really wanted too.
Then again, a works groupe B ferrari tarmac car would be very cool too...I know it's kind of Magnum PI but there you go...
You might say I'm a sucker for a good rack...light rack that is. 😂
rose ·
Me would with a booster seat lol😂

Hey Penguin, that's what my dad rode during the war! He was a dispatch rider doing escort duties up and down the UK and a mate in the UK has a couple of them (he collects WW2 vehicles). Me personally would love to have a 55-57 Chevy but I have a hard enough time paying out for my dubs but if not a dub then I wouldn't mind getting a Haflinger. Engine at the back that even looks similar to a VW (just two cylinders though) A top speed of a staggering 72kph, but could almost climb a brick wall!
donn ·
Haflinger, now that was a bloody top little 4x, drove one at a building site near Armidale back in the early 70's, outperformed the short landcruisers at the time, maybe not in speed but in off road stuff sure did.

My second love is my 55 DeSoto Diplomat. Built here in Adelaide and an original RHD. Exterior is a bit ratty (of course) but interior an mechanicals are as new having only done a genuine 93,000 miles. Outside is only like it isbecause it was stored in an open shed for 10 yrs before I got it.
Euro_67 ·
Mercedes Benz W100 600 Grosser for me. My old man had one as his daily driver when I was a kid. It left quite an impression.

This is my 560 SEC.
Had my fun with this classic and has recently been sold.
I'm now on the lookout for a 450SL.
bugeyedbabe ·
For me it would be an 55 indian motorcycle. A family friend introduced me to them... and how i wish i could have one of my very own.
I'm sure i can afford it... if i sell a child (or maybe two)
😂
