WTD [BNE] alternator stand

Does anyone have a cheap to free alternator stand that is spare, have the alternator, just need the stand.

am in brisbane so i can travel to get, or maybe cheap postage.

what brand alt and type engine might help

Sorry about that, not sure of brand, think it might have been from an original as there is no bosh branding. needed to fit a type 1 upright engine.

all You need to do, is cut off the front section of the generator pulley...
up to the casting...
thats the only difference...
as far as i could see...

an alternator stand will fit an alternator and generator..

You just need to cut the front [looking at the engine]
piece that protrudes...
as the alternator is thicker at the front...

although I suppose it needs to fit correctly
so maybe getting one is a better idea....

i will have a look in my shed for one, be surprised if i dont have one, i thought they were cheap to buy at places like classic vee dub or micks?Lee you cant cut these things and have them still usable, cheers

will have to ring mick as get a price, i just assumed they would have been expensive.
