https://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/threads/70372/life-in-the-low-lane-3l-type-4-engine-pics-now-up

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well now that Troy's Type 3 is nearing completion it's time to get my bus back running and on the road. What better excuse than to get it going for Valla!! For those who don't know my car here's a list of what i can remember i have done to it since I bought it in 1993.(damm I have had it longer than my wife lol) It's a 1976 microbus that started out as a 2.0L efi auto.

Lowered all round - front end adjusters, rear torsion bars

15x7" BBS lace wires with 205/55/15 front & 205/60/15 rear

tinted windows

biggish stereo(lol)

Deluxe bits and pieces - jail bars, trip meter speedo, fold down rear seat, opening quarter windows, sliding windows in back, added billet heater controls and window winders

Hurst bus quick shifter

converted to manual with 091 bus box

koni adjustable shocks on front, Monroe heavy duty gas on rear

Front end totally rebuilt with new bushes, ball joints, tie rods, centre pin and drag link

New master cylinder, front discs rear drums, wheel cylinders and linings. Front pads are a semi race composite.

Engine is currently 2.0L with following goodiies..

95mm mahle pistons equal weighted and barrels machined for close tolerances

crank machined and balanced

sachs clutch and pressure plate 211mm

Light flywheel and balanced

Heads are ported, flowed with 1800 valves. Comp 7.4:1

1700 Kombi rockers with solids spacers & Scat adjusters

hydraulic cam and lifters XU1 Torana grind on cam

rods equal weighted and balanced with new pin bushes

case full flowed with Empi Oil cooler

40mm dellortos on match ported manifolds

CES Racing custom exhaust with tuned length primaries mandrel bent with stainless turbo muffler and resonator, stainless tail pipe with AU XR8 Falcon tip

I am currently fixing the 2.0L up to get the car to Valla as it dropped an exhaust valve about 3 years ago and I just parked it in my parents carport where it has sat till this day.Time to get it going as I need a VW to drive as I miss driving it and need something to drive that's different.

Here's some pics of her as she sits waiting to be re-born...

Patiently sitting and awaiting the day of revival!

Engine in car minus Carbs ready to be removed

Engine out of car

Exhaust valve stem sticking out a bit far!!

Broken inlet rocker

Nice light flywheel

Exhausts valve head embedded into piston

Damage to head

More to come as more work gets done!!

66deluxe ·

Thats great that your getting the bus back on the road, i use to follow you to work along the Gateway. I got the rockers for you we spoke about the other day.

11CAB ·

Looks like the roof is going for that rat look.....
Will be good to see the old bus back on the road.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Yep a tad bit of the ol surface rust.... Undecided on what to do with that one yet.

first things first get it running lol

OZ Towdster ·

A shame ours won't be at Valla or we could park them together for the weekend , Life in the Low Lane and our Baja Bus , would've looked good being the same colours

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Andrew my uncle is taking his Daul cab down so parking beside it should make a good pic too. His headlights are almost level with the bottom of my windscreen lol.

Have some new rims that hopefully will be on for Valla as well. As soon as i can dig them out fo the back of my shed I'll get a pics of them.

OZ Towdster ·

I'll be looking for a ride into Valla for the cruize on Sat morning at Valla , so i'dd better introduce myself to John and mabey get a ride with him if possible, Us baja bus men have gotta stick together ya know

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

John will have his 2 boys with him as i think they're coming down too. I'll have family everywhere lol

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Heads go in for a quick tidy up tomorrow. Sand balst them all nice and clean inspect then get ready for reassemble. As this is only a short term engine the rebuild ins't as perfect as I'd like but doing it as cheap as I can. Because I want to spend the money on it's big brother type 4......

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well my car won't make it to Valla this year as I have got sick with a viral flu that is going around. Add to that a chest infection and i don't feel reall good. So working at night in the cold is certainly not a good idea in my current state of health. But i will still be there with the rest of the family.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Got new exhaust valves, gasket kit, engine seal, front crank seal, rear main seal and I have ended up getting the damaged head fixed. After comparing my ported heads to a stock head there is just too much difference in port size. It should be ready sometime this week. Tonight Troy and I stripped it down to a short block and removed things like oil pump, sump plate and strainer to give engine a thorough clean to remove any crud that may be in the sump. Engine cleaned up a treat and the cam and lifters are still in excellent condition and show no signs of any real wear at all even after 463000 Km's. It's amazing what god quality oil and regular changes can do for an engine. flushed all oil galleries best you can without splitting the case so all is ready to be put back together again. Will also tidy up some rough castings in Dellorto manifolds while it is apart.

more soon....

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

All pistons cleaned and ready for new rings. Barrells are perfect and have no wear at all!! Quick deglaze by hand and good to go. no lip in the bore at all.

hellbugged ·

pictures or ban😁

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

coming......

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Ok here are some pics of todays efforts. Everything is cleaned up and ready for assembly. Got my Dad to put some finishing touches on the porting after the new seats were fitted. He also match ported the manifoldsproperly opening up the bottom of the dellorto manifolds a bit. Also match ported the manifold gaskets to suit the size of the ports. Cam and lifters are in good nick for 463 000km's as you will see in the pics below...

Ported manifolds

Ported inlets

Ported exhausts

Combustion chambers. Compression is 7.4:1. 1800 valves

Engine stripped to short motor

Hydraulic lifters. Done 463 000km's. Still like new!!

Pics of cam lobes and no wear!! Red arrows point to base circle of lobes

Pic of cam lobe

westi ·

is it finished yet or what.
don't forget to send me your deatils so i can send up some coin.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Should have it together one night after work this week. hopefully in the car next saturday and running if all goes to plan.

Westi you still able to get a generator for Warwick? Drop me a PM!!

westi ·

should be fine.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Heads with valves lapped and ready to go

Pistons with rings fitted ready to go in barrels

Flywheel, clutch and pressure plate fitted and end float done. End float was 6 thou so all good there.

Pistons are in barrels and will go on engine tomorrow after work.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

pistons and barrels fitted tonight. also started to disassemble dellorto's give a thorough clean. Kinda grubby after being on a mate's car... actually filthy. will post some more pics soon...

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Troy got my engine together and then had drama's with the rocker gear and valve clearances. He called me and it was then that i remembered about putting spacers under the barrels!! D'OH!!

So I am pullling it apart tomorrow morning fitting spacers and hopefully tomorrow arvo it will be that much closer to going into the car.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well engine is altogether with tin ware on. have to buy a new dip stick bellow then fan housing etc will all be fitted also. One carb to dismantle and clean then put engine in car and fit exhaust, carbs and wire up. then hopefully the bugger will run LOL

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Engine is now pretty much complete ready to go into the car. fit carbs once in the car and then set timing, wire up and fuel lines and hopefully be in business.

Got my entry stuff for Warwick today so no turning back now!!

Dasdubber ·

Whoo-hooo.....bout bloody time mate! 😀

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Mate i am looking forward to driving the ol girl again and also a car with a decent stereo!

Might take a while to get used to the roughish ride again tho.....

matberry ·

Well done mate, time to spare😁

11CAB ·

Here's some pics for you Brennden.....

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

first pic was when i first lowered it. the ol jelly beans offset meant they no longer fitted under the rear guards. Later went to the merc rims.

Action day at surfer's raceway. Ran a best of 17.6 that day from memory. happy days. Thanks mate!!

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Engine is back in the car!! well it is in there and tomorrow's job is hooking everything up and tightening all the mounts etc etc. Also replace all the fuel lines as they have kinda lost their flexibility.

westi ·

then for a good thrashing,i hope.
if it doesn't break in the first five minutes all is good.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

That's the plan mate!! This car is tried and tested as far as thrashing goes. When i was a bit younger it used to cop a hiding all the time. I'm a lil more sympathetic on the machinery these days though.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well only have to do fuel lines, throttle linkage and exhaust and we'll see if it makes all the right noises. I cranked it over tonight and all was good.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well the old girl came back to life tonight. Took a bit get it started but now all good. Lifters are still a bit noisy and will need to run for a bit longer to bleed out air but apart from that oil leaks are almost non existant and it idles like it has never been off the road.....

now to clean off some crud and wait for my other new bits to hopefully arrive in time.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

didn't get to work on the car yesterday aswas helping Troy with his. So hopefully this arvo will be an uninteruppeted run to get all the loose ends sorted and ready to go. And clean some crud off!!

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Welll the ol girl is clean again but minus a lot of paint on the roof(flaking off LOL) so should make it lighter. Fixed a few small things up but now indicators wont work. Swapped relays and still no go. Am buggered so gave up and will look at it tomorrow. Been awake since 4.30am this morning so starting to need a kip of sorts.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well my bus made it to Warwick albeit with a very trying time on Friday morning. Everything I check seemed to suddenly stop working and then had drama's with tyres on new rims. Tyres hitting rear guards.

Anyway she ran good all weekend and ran a best of 11.35 @ 57.8MPH. I actually ran the second quickest time for a Kombi all weekend I think!!(only some 5 odd seconds behind Aaron LOL)

Not bad for a 2L type 4 with lots and lots of k's on the bottom end and just a quick fix on the top end.( replace piston, exhaust valves and reapir head from dropped valve.)

My car was so quiet that I had to get someone to stand at the back of my car to move people out of the way everytime I reversed out of my pit bay!!

11CAB ·

here it is....

Dasdubber ·

Great to see it there and running Brenndan - it was very quiet! I was in the staging lanes and had to do a double take as you were moving forward without anyone pushing, but I couldn't hear anything 🙂

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well after driving home from Warwick with no brake lights and eye balling the rear vision mirror all the time I finally got around to fixing the problem and a few other niggly little things that i have wanted to do for ages. Brake lights was a bit of a headache. I replaced the switch hoping it would be an easy fix.Well no it didn't do a thing. One minute my test pencil was telling me it had power then the next it didn't. I checked the test pencil and it was a bit on the dodgy side so in the bin it went and bought another.😠

The power to the switch was intermittent. Had it one minute then gone the next. Got a wiring diagram and started to trace wiring from front to back. checked the fuse and it was good but put another in anyway. Still not a consistent power supply and no lights. So I pulled the fuse box off the mounts under the dash and started checking the wiring behind. Found one wire that had rubbed through outer casing so fixed it. then did some tracing to the brake light circuit and found the wires i needed to. well one was very loose on the terminal behind the fuse block so fixed it and made sure the others were a tight fit as well.😵

While under the dash I sussed out the wiring on my stereo as it intermittently cut out when something else turned on(eg indicators etc) Problem solved there!! My dad removed my old mobile phone car kit and took the earth wire off which also had the earth for the head unit. Repaired it and again all good.Am also thinking that this could also be the cause of the loose wires behind the fuse box for brake lights as that was where the power was sourced from. also fixed some dash lights that didn't work either. that was an easy fix LOL.😉

Now back to the brake lights. the new switch was a 3 pin switch and the old one was 2 pin. So had to play musical wires till i got the right wire on the right pin till the brake lights came on when you put your foot on the pedal and then released. Yay all good!! but then one light stopped working so then had to check all the earths for the tail lights in the engine bay. One earth was a bit loose so quick fix and everything is working AOK.

My back is pretty sore today after spending hours under the dash in somewhat contorted positions. It's been a long time since I worked on my van and I seemed to have more room from memory last time. Maybe the car has got smaller??? Actually no I think me has got a big bigger..... like 15 kg or so LOL😁

But i think I lost about 5 kg in sweat being so hot and almost tearing the remains of my hair out from getting into the car then getting under the car then back in the car again.😢

Something I haven't done for nearly 4 years so i guess my van is making up for lost time. did i miss it?? No but it certainly is starting to rekindle the passion i had for the car and appreciate the effort I have put into it in years gone by.👍

Now to start building a 2.7 type 4. Chest pains beginning already ...........🤪

Dasdubber ·

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE wrote:Now to start building a 2.7 type 4. Chest pains beginning already ...........🤪

Haha....the chest pain is nothing compared to the pain your wallet will be feeling 🙂

Al

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

The chest pain will be from my wife when she hits me for spending what i will prolly spend LOL

typethreeking ·

i thought i would get in before brennden as he usually gets in about my car before i do, anyway the poor old kombi is feeling abit sick, its life support(fuel pump) is giving up the ghost. well it did sit idle for a few years so what do you expect. brennden has bought a cheap pump from repco to fit into place of the holly red, so hopefully it can flow enough to that massive 2.0lt power plant. we will see if it makes it to the gold coast show..

dangerous ·

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE wrote:The chest pain will be from my wife when she hits me for spending what i will prolly spend LOL
Forget the chest pain, keep the testicles well guarded.
With the cost of type 4's they may not be there one morning!

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Racked off the Holley pump and regulator. Stupid pressure gauge simply doesn't tell the truth as the fuel pressure is 0 one minute and the next it is nearly 5 psi. Pump works ok but when sitting idling for any length of time it seems to just simply stop pumping fuel. engine stalls so you start it and the pump starts again and you can hear it cavitate for a split second then regains full pressure. I'm over it and went and bought a Facet pump that flows more than enough for what i need and pressure from 4-7psi which is heaps.

Fitted it up and drove from Slacks Creek to Boondall entertainment centre in just over 20 minutes. Everything is all good!!

Old mate in his Mazda SP23 didn't like me pulling out and passing him on the inside lane of a bend at highish speed. But i was late for a basketball game and I guess he was a bit too slow LOL

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Bought some goodies for new engine last night. big thanks to 66 deluxe for hooking me up with a good deal.

After purchasing a 2465 Type 4 from Dak A Tak(engine my uncle built a few years ago) I have now added a 78mm full circle counterweight DPR stroker crank from Jake Raby.

2700cc Type 4 is now under way......

Will post some pics shortly....

matberry ·

This sounds like 2.7 liters of fun.

westi ·

cut some weight of the driver, then gut the car/bus and you won't need a bigger donk.lol.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Driver is cutting weight thanks for asking......LOL

STOCK ·

westi wrote:cut some weight of the driver, then gut the car/bus and you won't need a bigger donk.lol.
THEN PAINT SOME PARTS PINK & YOUR REALLY
IN BUSINESS

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

I'll throw some pink in there somewhere or perhaps some magenta LOL.

Pic of crank...

Heads were originally done by my uncle. Will get some more work done on them and up the comp to something nice.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Went to a photoshoot for another car forum on saturday night and took the bus to add a touch of class to the modern world of plastic cars LOL

Here's a few pics....

Love that colour mismatch LOL

I am talking with the photographer about doing a VW shoot in Brissy later this year. These cost me $50 and make even my crappy paint look half decent imagine what cars with good paint will turn out like!! stay tuned.

matberry ·

Cool pics Brenndan, bus looks great. Trip to Kennilworth washed out eh?

typethreeking ·

kenilworth was pretty good actaully until monday or should i say sunday night as the rain set in. Brennden and i planned to come and see you on monday arvo as we were going to come home tuesday but decided to pack up yesterday as more rain was predicted, other than that it was really good!!

Mick058 ·

that looks really good - how much does it cost may i ask?

typethreeking ·

Cost was 50 bucks, brennden is going to try and arrange a photo shot with this guy for any vw owners in brisbane that would be interested.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well it has been a while since I have tried to do some work on the bus but after the rush of trying to organise the dyno day and also get my car ready as well something had to miss out - the car.

Dropped the carbs off today to get the seized air bleeds sorted and also bought a completly new linkage kit to remove any excess movement and hopefully solve the problem of out of sync carbs.

Once that is all together it's off to the dyno to get the mixtures etc sorted for Warwick and have the thing running properly with time to spare!!

I'll have to wait and see if all will go to plan this time.......

westi ·

i think i can here some violins.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

westi wrote:i think i can here some violins.
Only very very small ones LOL

I am going to try and get the car better prepared this year after the last minute rush of actually getting the thing back on the road last year and driving it to Warwick as a test drive lol

arrrr a good detailer can fix that😂

6 weeks! Where are you at with it mate?? Gonna be ready?? 🙂

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Waiting for the carbs to come back fixed then bolt on go to dyno. check front brakes as I think one front caliper is sticking a tad.

apart from that change gearbox oil, check a few things and we are good to go.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Picked up Carbs today and late this arvo and tonight fitted them back onto the manifolds. New throttle linkage set up needed a few mods to suit the dellorto's(actually for IDF's) so that you can access the idle jets without removing all the throttle linkages etc. did a dummy fit up and all is good so hopefully tomorrow night I will get it all fitted up ready to go for a drive. Can't wait as I haven't driven it for well over a month now....

66deluxe ·

Still running the 2 litre Brendan, or did you get that 2.7 built?

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

2L mate. did you find any rods for me while at Jakes for the 2.7??

66deluxe ·

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE wrote:2L mate. did you find any rods for me while at Jakes for the 2.7??
Yes i asked and you just need a set of h beam 5.4" rods in type 1 journal and 22mm pins.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Dyno time booked for monday before Warwick so that gives me a week or so to sort out a few other things on the car.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Got it running today after a bit of stuffing around adapting the Empi linkage kit for IDF's to the Dellorto's. not quite the dream easy straight swap I had imagined but hey it all works pretty damm good now!! After a flat battery and all the fuel in the tank evaporating(fogot to block off fuel line damm it) it finally came to life. Only had a short amount of time to quickly fiddle with the idle and mixtures to get it a lil better but need to set the accelerator pumps up as it is a bit hesitant on the progression from idle to main circuit. Will hopefully get to it sometime later in the week as I have to go to Fraser Island for a family wedding for the next few days....

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well I kinda wasn't happy with the throttle linkage set up so ripped it off and started again and made a few adjustments as watching the Broncs get pasted wasn't helping my mood. Pretty much got it sorted and tomorrow will go for a drive with a fully charged battery to do some more fiddling. Might also try and replace the front gear shift bush as it fell out on the way to Warwick last year....

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Big thanks to Leon and Andrew from Leon's Motors for their help and use of the dyno today. Sorted out the issue of not getting full throttle on one carb, changed some jetting and adjusted the timing to have the bus running sweet!! A very enjoyable drive home!!

Ended up changing the air correctors, mains and idles but had to go back to original idles as mixtures went a bit too lean on cruising.

Air correctors - 215 down to 190
Mains - 160 down to 150
idles - 60(tried 55 but a bit on the lean side)
34mm vents
40mm Dellorto's.

For those who don't know what the engine is...

2.0L Type 4 with 370 000k's on it!
1.8L heads ported and flowed
hydraulic cam grind 30/70
1700 rockers
light flywheel
comp 7.4:1
custom exhaust system - mandrel bent tuned length
all internals balanced
40 mm Dellorto's on ported and flowed manifolds

Started off with 72hp and finished off with 79.3hp with a very nice smooth graph and ironed out a lot of little rough patches. Car is soo much nicer to drive and throttle response is a lot crisper. Bring on Warwick I'm one step closer to being ready...

Will post up dyno sheet tonight.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Did about 15 odd runs today. Temp was 28.5 degrees when we finished. All runs were done with oil temp at 80 deg C.

colonel mustard ·

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Well it just wasn't my year at Warwick this year. After an easy preparation with time to spare and even going as far as getting the car on the dyno it just didn't all plan out like I had hoped. Firstly the bakerlite block on the points that runs on the dizzy shaft decided to just about wear itself away(brand new points for dyno) and close the points right up buring them big time. I managed to get another set and a big thanks to John Richardson for loaning them to me till I got into town to replace them. That made the car better but top end 3rd gear from about 4500rpm onwards it simply started to breakdown. I replaced a suspect looking fuel filter thanks to Aaron Roberts having one to try but alas it did little or nothing to fix the problem. went back to the hotel saturday night thinking what it could be and then Westi suggested maybe the float levels were too low. Sunday morning with his help we readjusted them and I managed to get 2 runs in before racing started. Car went slower lol but didn't breakdown yay! Now obviously jetting was all wrong so tried a quick jet change which made it a lil better but not great.

I missed 1 round of racing but didn't really care to be honest as i was happy enough to watch Troy and the rest of the family doing really well. ran a best of 11.60@55mph which is slower than last year so back to the dyno and before next year new CV's and perhaps a new gearbox as everything is making lots of noises after some biggish rpm launches over the weekend(one was just over 5000rpm lol)

Might even have a new engine for next year who knows...

colonel mustard ·

typethreeking ·

are you sure the kombi was really playing up or you just making excuses cause the 65 split smoked you all weekend...lol

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

I admitted defeat right from the start. Massive weight difference in Scott's favour that's for sure LOL

Love the last pic Colonel classic!!

typethreeking ·

well i guess with the split running a low comp 2.5lt engine she went pretty good and with only a 25/65 cam..not bad with a 9.97sec 68mph

matberry ·

Oh Troy.......did you have to spill the beans????

I'm sure it had a 2.1. Hehe

As for Scott and his sneaky engine builds he should look to moving to somewhere in Sydney as he'd fit right in LOL

Got some goodies from the states this morning from Jake Raby.

105mm JE's with HPC coatings already done. rings and gudgeons with spiral locks included. Pistons have done a short amount of dyno time on a development motor. I will prolly buy new rings once I get to that stage of the 2.7L build. Pistons weigh just under 500 grams with rings, gudgeons and clips.

vassy66T1 ·

Bit of size in those Brennden!

Good to see another step along the road.

dangerous ·

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE wrote:Got some goodies from the states this morning from Jake Raby.

You are going to have fun fitting the rings and cylinders.
The pin and clips have to go in BEFORE the oil rings go on.
That is the support rail that is left behind in the oil ring groove.
It stops the normal oil ring's rail from getting caught in the gudgeon pin hole.

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Only some of the rings are on the pistons. the rest are in the box. I will most likely buy new rings once assembly begins.

All good Dangerous I'm sure you will be able to sort it out when i drop it all off in pieces for you to assemble!!

Won't be for a while yet though....

dangerous ·

I dont work on boat anchors.
😂
Actually I HAVE done a few other types of motors
ranging from, Chev big and small-block, toyota diesel, and even a Brabham Coventry Climax,
so I guess a type 4 should be on my resume.

I actually remember you showing me the Coventry climax engine you did in some pics ages ago. Like I said got to get quite a few more pieces of the puzzle before this thing fires up in anger LOL

Like big brakes and a gear box for starters......

Thanks Daimo I do believe Troy's track record is a hell of a lot worse than mine will ever be LOL

LIFE IN THE LOW LANE ·

Finally got new seats ive had for nearly 2 years in today. Got some seats brand new still with the plastic on them from a 2010 VRX Lancer. Bit of mucking around but once we nutted it all out in they went and what a difference to drive. They sit you a little bit higher than stock but they are soo much more comfortable than stock seats that were half collapsed and extremely painful LOL. So much nicer to drive!!

Got some new rims off C240 Merc sedan with tyres and fitted them up as well. 16x7 with offset of 43 fit real nice!! Just need some lower profile tyres for the front to get guard clearance.

Picked up change over tinware at goldy show today. From early bays with type 1's but have the type 4 cooling seal in the engine bay. Got all the tinware I needed for $40 and picked up a late kombi steering wheel for a real good price as well!! First time I've had a Horn that works for nearly 15 years!! Just have to keep reminding myself not to tap on it to the music!! Lol

So we'll see this racing at Warwick?

3Lt should give plenty or torque 👍

Was for sale on Samba Reuben. 3 odd months of negotiating before it wash finally a done deal.

Graham Warwick may be a possibility but between now and then I have to finish some minor renos to sell my house and find somewhere else to live then obviously move. Troys car would be closer to being at Warwick than mine and that will keep me busy at the track!!.

On a side note tracked down a vac advance type 4 dizzy this arvo in good condition!! Thanks tar!!
