Formula Vee Gear Linkages

Hey Guys,

Im just looking for more information about how the gearbox works (as in changing gears as previous cars ive had experience with have always had the gearstick coming straight out of the box) and how the linkages work in formula vee cars.

And does anyone have any links or info on any projects where people have made mid engined beetles?
