Looking for an early deck lid in good rust free condition for my late 57 (big rear window) beetle, Looking for one of a late 57-63ish, that uses the small pope nose shape number plate light housing. Im in SA but happy to pay shipping for a good straight one.

I have one but pin holes just starting along the bottom edge-took it back to metal and used a scribe to find them. Come from a 58, rolled in 59, bootlid stored in chicken pen until I acquired it in 2006 along with the semaphores and other bits from it. perfectly straight and easily repairable. make me an offer, I am not desperate to move it unless I have the right offer(yes I know how hard rust free units are to find-completely rotten being the norm) and is currently smothered in protective wax.
