NSW number plates - sizes???

I've got a set of those white on black custom plates, and the back one is fine but the front one looks too big. Its the same size as the standard yellow plates.

Can you actually ask for a smaller one instead??? i noticed the black on white NSW plates are big for the rear and smaller for the front...

I have NSW black on white custom plates and yeah the front and backs are different sizes! The front one is smaller both in height and length to the rear... I wanted both small ones but was told that's how they came.. I know i could possibly "lose one / stolen" and get another smaller one but you pay for it and at $400 a year I think the RTA are getting enough from me.

that suxs - yeh, mine are both big - no 'losing' option.
