tyre sizes for my fastback

Hi all,

I recently scored some 15 x 5.5 inch wheels for my '71 type 3 fastback (I previously had some 14inch 4 stud mags, anyone in the market for some?). My questions relate to tyre size for the new wheels.

I'm guessing I need something like a 185/65 R15. Would 195 be too wide?

Should I get a 65 profile all around or go for a slightly lower profile at the front like a 60 or 55? Would doing this lower the car at the front by much? What are the pluses and minuses for doing something like this?

have a read, apparently you can run as wide as 205 on the rear 😏
