that body is later than 1968...
the side rear vents didn't arrive until 1971..

Judging by the dash its either 71 or 72 then

the NON super beetles were also sold as 1300 beetles in 1973-74..
this has a 1300 gearbox.....
and they had drum brakes instead of front discs..
so maybe it was a 1300 beetle..

It's a 71 Import 1300 povopack.
More importantly it has a lot of good stories attached.
Sadly I haven't the clams to get it back. 😢
