I know that poeple get burnt out and cost have all gone up but with out our local events our hobby would die !
I'm no member to any club but like getting out to my local events ,plus you catch up with your vw buddy's .

Possibly, depends on condition, type of front guards and price. I won't be able to make the show, but if you could possibly post a pic and give me some details I'll let you know.

Had a great day (though a little hot) - convoy from Brissie was fun - thanks to all those who came along !
Here are my photos of the day (sorry was busy behind the wheel driving, so no convoy pics) 🥲
Car is now for sale. Rear end consists of Renault 5 speed tranny, air bags all round, adjustable tough dog(? I think) shocks, disc brakes, IRS with adjustable camber/castor etc to set it up just right.
Car is super strong and as near as unstoppable as you could get. Brownie's contact details are found on the coastwatch website for more info.
A lot of people spent a lot of time on their hands and knees under the car looking at how it's set up with some bewildered at what they were looking at LOL.
I have one other pic which I will post up when I get home from work tonight.

We enjoyed ourselves yesterday thanks to every one who was most hospitable 😀
He's probably spent over $70k on that car. So asking 30 for it to me seems pretty damm good. It does have the best of the best goodies on it. You only really appreciate the engineering in the car once you stick your head underneath!!
