I strongly considered it all last week. Even friday night when I was putting in my fuel tank, carpets, seats and esky I was wondering if I could still go.
The boys, my son Chandler and his school friend Ryan were arguing in the back ground and I though that I couldn't put up with that for 5 hours in the car.
We (I) decided to go camping nearby instead. We visited Wellington and checked out the caves, Lake Burrendong, Mount Arthur.
I wish I could have made it. Make sure you post plenty of pics and stories fellow dubbers.

Will drop film in tomorrow for pics to be put onto CD, so hopefully some pics up tomorrow night
Six of us cruise up and back together from Melbourne, others joined us up there. I think on Saturday we kept crossing paths with the Sydney siders.
Had fun at the '60's party (Where did Fern Man come from again? Fern Man, Fern Man!!!!) Hey Albury Backpackers is a very cool place if you're ever passing through and need somewhere to stay. Those wood fires outside were excellent, soooooo warm, especially for those who wore the mini dresses. Yummy

Didn't count the Vee Dubbs on Sunday but the pics will show all. We had all Types covered and had a very sweet cruise to Beechworth. We wandered the town, shopped, lunched, then had a drive and a short hike down at Woolshed Falls.
Hey it was a great relaxed, social get together. Non stop chat amongst the group, with some grazing and drinking, and film going thrown in
Dave, thanks for having us up there and showing us around your home turf.

Excellent pics Jen!
Great weekend had by all. Very laid back but very well organised. David did a fantasic job of keeping us busy. Thank you for the use of your hostel!
The hume hwy seems to get more interesting every time I drive up and down it I reckon.
Jay is the first passive drinker I know of. She gets drunk on the fumes of other peoples drinks.
I hope to see more interstaters next year when we run this again. This was a great event.

How Sad - I would have really liked being there.
I knew that If I did go and somthing went wrong I'd never get to Nambucca. The Dog-O-War need a serious service, mounts tightened, flywheel seal replaced and wheel bearing replaced. Rego's in a month and I want it working well for Valla.
My previous run on the dune made me a little nervious about distance travel until I get a few things fixed up - If work would let me have a weekend to myself I'd be right!
Anyway, I'm rambling too so glad to see you all had a great time - Godd PR for next year and I'll try harder to get there next year. Saw the Multi coloured convertable bajas nose and put a face to 'Davids' name - nice bloke. Sorry I couldn't make it mate.

i have has good feedback on the albury weekend ,even though i was in new zealand for the 4 weeks prior to it ,so a lot of people did not know about it, but have 11 months to organise it this time, so it is definately on next year
