Know where to get a replacement alternator in Melbourne?

Hi all, my alternator in my beetle is stuffed (diodes busted). Anyone know of a place where I can get a replacement/rebuilt one (on an exchange basis) in Melbourne? If not, someone who can fix my current one? I don't really want to buy a new one because a bosch one will set me back $350.

If you cant find someone close by you can buy them new from classicveedubs (not bosch) for about 260 55Amp.
