091 pinion shaft

hi, how hard/ easy, is it to remove the pinion shaft from an 091. are special tools needed. thanks for your help

Yes special tools.
A pinion nut socket and a first gear inner race socket.
Also circlip pliers and a press helps.

thanks dave, i had a look [a type 1] online, seems a bit out of my league especially without the tools.
