Since the start up of the Warwick event, and with several years racing at Sydney Oran Park, I have been ask to compile a listing or 1/8 mile Drag Race times
These times are only recorded when racing on a 1/8 mile track, Oran Park, Warwick, Portland etc etc

The 6.19 belongs to the tube chassis 1963 beetle.
Twin screw supercharged 2965cc Pauter type1(what was I thinking?!).🤪
The 7.04 belongs to my 1960 beetle with 2715cc normally aspirated Pauter type1.🤓

I have been working on my new clutch setup, and now I think I have it? I was only running 18lbs of boost, "safe setup" just trying to get my 60' time better 1.367 spinning off the line, I just need to work on my shocks now 😵💫

here is the timeslip from Portland 2008 for my street registed turbo oval beetle . I ran 6.73 @ 105mph . a little down on my mph from Warrick of 109.75 .

correct me here if im wrong but i believe mike kristen now holds the fastest 1/8th mile pass at 6.09 @ 123.7mp/h on sunday the 21st of febuary 2010
i am part of his pit crew and from my knowledge that is not only the fastest 1/8th pass

If Mikes ET and MPH that you have posted are correct then Congratulations to Mike and the crew for a great pass.
I would also like to congratulate everyone who has given Drag racing a go.
Whether you post your times or not, if its your Daily driver you have taken to the track for some fun, a wild street car or a dedicated Race Car.
Alll that matters is that you've had a go, hopefully enjoyed yourself and you've helped support a part of the VW Scene.

on its debut outing my turbo 2387ml type-1 powered drag beetle ran a 6.71 @ 100.9mph ( race number 7500 )

this is the timeslip for my turbo oval which is powered by a type-4 2827ml turbo injected engine with a pass of 6.33 @ 113.07mph . This pass was fastest ET & MPH for the event . I lost this run as I broke out ..... but it is the best break-out that I have ever had !! ( race number 3120 )

This is the best i could muster this year. 69 beetle with 2332cc N/A. 7.816 at 88.75. Cannot wait till Feb 2012.

this is Ben Fords quickest pass for the event with a 7.04 @ 98.46mph . Bens 2442ml type-1 supercharged bug produced 213hp @ the wheels on the dyno (race number 1178 )
