Firstly i saw a slammed kombi down at westlakes had P plates.
This morning i saw a teal VW driving past the West end brewery.
Then i saw a very sexy baby blue beetle at the corner of glen osmond Rd and greenhill Rd, Sounded like a beast 馃槈
And in the hills this afternoon i saw a late 70's green beetle.
That is all i have to report 馃槈 i need a rapidly accessible camera to grab shots of these cars as i see them 馃槈

I saw a metalic purple late beetle sitting in the tea tree plaza shopping center. (Mon 4:00pmish)

Yup that's it. Saw it again today, turning onto Magill road. I was in the Uni car - eek a Falcon wagon (so huge after the Golf!).

Ha saw another one tonight, coming down south road inbetween henly beach road and sir donald bradman drive at about 7-8pm ish.
Had tail lights of an early beetle but the flared rear guards and the rear valance appeared to be all one unit, looked pretty tough, and didnt sound to bad either, was black nice ride. (was almost manxish)

At about 4:00 i saw a stock 70's beetle red driving down port road heading towards the city.
At about 10:30pm i saw a convertible red beetle (couldn't quite focus on it at this time to see what model :P).

I spot plenty of newer VWs, esp MK5 golfs, esp MK5 GTIs. But they don't really count arount here do they. 馃槈 Saw a few Beetles around lately but can't remember the details. They weren't totally beat up. I love how if I think I hear one I automaticaly crane my head around to see. And my eye is so trained now that I can almost spot one out of the corner of my eye while driving. With modern VW you don't need to keep a look out as they're everywhere (like Beetles once were?). 馃憤

On Thursday afternoon (5ish) on Main north Road i saw a faded red type 3, a real nice blue/purple mid 60's beetle, and an orange type 2 late (if memory serves me correct).
On Saturday i saw a White Type 2 in great condition driving through blackwood at about 3:00, white l8te beetle and orange l8te beetle in stirling at about 4:00ish. ( i also caught a glimpse of an two tone orange bus but i couldnt say much more than that as i was distracted)

Yeah - 'the rules'. I did a bit of judging on the watercooleds and to win a prize the cars had to be SPOTLESS. I cleaned mine for ages and still didn't come close. Not worth the hassle. 馃檯 Just good to see the cars.
I was in a cream shirt with the outline of a golf on it, wearing a stupid straw hat, and spent a lot of the time by the watercoolers in the semi-shade.

It's got roof racks and wooden slat racks over the deck lid.

Wannavee, i live in the valley. Is it the one opposite the oval / tennis courts / memorial. The guy that owns it is a nice fella. Builds hotrods for a living.
I saw the all over rust beetle/oval cruising through the valley last weekend I think. Quite low, think it is the one that got rubbed back and left out in the rain.
