which way 2 go

hi everyone,,i have a manx buggy 1600 singleport vw and full auto gbox,,,the question is which way to go,,do i put a low boost draw thru t3 on it ,and see what happens,,or do i spend 6k on a stroker engine and 2k on extra clutch in gbox,,,or do i go a subaru ej20/2.2..the gbox will be reconditioned and beefed up,,so engine options i guess to try stay within the gboxes handling,,car is used as a hwy/town cruiser and beach,..cheers and thanks for any ideas

always stay with the vw motor. i have seen some awful attempts at engine conversions in vws.

vw engine with big power = lots of $$$ and will not last as long as a ej22
