Ok, reckon I've figured out that the replacement alternator has a built in voltage regulator as it has two conections (picked that clue up from another post somewhere), they are both marked "B+" the old generator has two conections, one marked "DF" and the other " D+" so now I have three questions.
1. Does it matter which conection goes to which conection, and 2. Do I need to remove the voltage regulator from the generator line, wherever that may be as it's a buggy and I spose the builder would have put it anywhere it fitted, and lastly what am I looking for ie what does it look like.
Thanks in anticipation
