50`s trip meter speedo

hey guys just wondering are these a factory item in australia?
i have never seen one before.

they made trips for bugs in 80 mph and 90 mph and similar in Klms for europe

i got 1 in my split ute and had another in a van i sold years ago,you can get them for bugs and busses, pretty hard to find

There are some floating around the US that were modified from standard speedos to be trip speedos. There is a thread on theSamba with a few ideas on how to differentiate them. There were some variations with silver/white backgrounds and red outer edges etc etc, I got lost. I think the easiest solution was the part number.

How much do you want for it I am interested if its around 1956.

it`s a july 58 has 7 58 stamped on the back of it.
