VW Caravelle not starting sometimes

Hi,
I have a VW caravelle 5cyl petrol van and sometimes after i go for short drives and turn off the car it won't start up again straight away i have to wait 10 to 20 min's some time.

Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it??

Is that a T4 or 5 ??

where are u located

frank .....if your t4 has high mileage you may need to look at the fuel pump as they drop off pressure ...another tip is to replace the 30 power relay as they too can over heat and cause hard starting...hope this gives you a directionto check ...cheers steve

I was going to say fuel pump problems like the air cooled cars getting to hot

is the pump on the motor on the T4s n 5s or in the tank ???
