accessories that should = instant & permanent license confiscation

In the last few months, during long drives, I've noticed that people with particular accessories and items of clothing are SLOW, APALLING and INCONSIDERATE drivers. So, post up any accessories or items of clothing that you have noticed belong to frustrating drivers.

Here are mine...

White cotton gloves
Any window/bumper sticker with a coat of arms on it
Padded seatbelt covers (I'm sure they're unsafe too)

Straw hats on the parcel shelf
And anything my dad has in his car!

widebrimmed hats (worn while driving)

drivers wearing those hoody jackets, how can they see beside em.🙅

HaHa...my mother wears white cotton gloves all the time as she has VERY bad skin cancer and can't get sun on her....she is a good driver and would do many more KM a week than you....and has never caused an accident,let alone had one!! Padded setbelt harness covers...the QLD ambulance advises you use thes on safety harnesses for children in capsules and booster seats so I wouldn't say that that would annoy me at all either..hmmm...stickers..."Barbie is a slut" is the best one I've seen recently and the driver needed his license taken off him as he couldn't stay on the road...so we agree on that one!! "Jesus loves you" annoys me (I'm not having a go at you) as these people sometimes drive like they are guided by something other than common sence!!!
I wear my wide brimmed hat in the buggy..skin cancer sucks...🥲 As for the worst item....THONGS...unless you drive a Kombi!!

I just threw it on 18 months back cause it was pretty boring. + i don't like conforming to everyone elses standard look. Will do sumfin a bit more interesting when i pull it apart and put some paint on it in the future. Its getting old + wrong colour.

Big trucks... regardless of accessories. Rediculously dangerous. We saw that bug that got a bad knockin recently from the truck that bardged into the left lane. I can relate to that situation.

I spose in that case, u could say the accessory is the radical driver.

Front body kits that are so low to the ground that they look like they've been designed to scrape dead toads off the road or cut grass. Not to mention the fact that any speed bump would stop them dead.

The thing that annoyed me most was gauges on the bonnet.
Thankfully that fad seems to have passed.

Especially when cars are restricted by the economy chip more than anything. Any brand name sticker, especially if it was paid for. "I'd rather push my X than drive a Y" or "Xs piss on Ys" sticker. Any sticker with offensive language.... any stickers at all really I dont even like having to put on a rego label.

the reason new cars are so quiet is cos the header and exhaust is so restrictive
mine didnt show any improvement under 4k but over that it revd all the way to limiter heaps more freely

a bloke on the FL forum with the same engine as mine had his dynoed and picked up 9kw

but when your talking a supercheap auto cannon tek screwd inplace of the stock rear box on an auto single cam excel then yeah that does nothing cept disturb the peace

Lowered swing axles. I hate em.

Whats with the driving lights? These days it seems you're uncool to have any lights on at all until pitch black. Every day on my way home form work, there are heaps of cars without headlights on. Its not impossible to see without them, but still. Why wouldnt you turn them on so you can see your dashboard at least? When it gets a little later some will turn on the driving lights, but not headlights???? But then when it gets really dark, light up your car like a christmas tree. LED's in the grill, in the headlights, neons in, on, and under the car. wtf?

I'm on a mission with driving lights now. If a car is coming at me with driving lights on and I'm not going to affect any innocent people, I put high beams on. I'm not sure everyone knows that they arent supposed to use them as headlights.

mine isnt so much accesories, but W.A drivers in general. they suck. move over east and learn then come back.....

I got you beat. Four, including the one that came with my bus. All functional. One is 27MHz, one is 2m, and the big whip is attached to my HF rig that goes from 6m-80m

And yes, I have talked to Oz from SoCal on that rig! 🙂

The accessories that really scare me are the fake stick-on vents that are appearing everywhere.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I just hate when there is a feed in line when turning left and the car in front just does not use it !! They just sit there and wait for a break in other lane. I just feel like ramming the back of them into the coming traffic

I have a pretty funny story about that.

I was driving home from a mate's one night on the M1 south of Brisbane and was overtaken by a Honda Jazz with these all over the rear shelf thing. I don't know why they were there because they would just fall off when you open the hatch. But anyway. Following close behind was a tilt tray and I thought he was a tool for being so close. So about another maybe three minutes down the road all the traffic starts to pull up and when I get to the cause I see the truck had actually hit this Jazz, spilling broken glass and soft toys all over the road.

Well I thought it was funny. I tried to run over as many as I could haha. Was like aiming for cane toads.

I'll just start with vw's for the moment,cannons(the vw offroad style),wide 14inch wheels designed for a falcon/holden,highback seats with removable head rests out of say a 1986 tarago,radiators mounted proudly on the front bumper of kombis,billet bumpers on bugs and busses,goldcast hebmullers and harlequin paint thats it for now but i've got more!oh year chrome louvred running boards and firewalls.
