Behind the sliding door where the opening of the door meets the inner trim, there is a small white pinchweld trim.
Anyone got an old bit about 1m long in white original. I can clean it up if dirty.
It is available new in black, but I would like to get the original white if I could
This is a cross section view of pinchweld

This particular pinchweld is about 5 x 8mm. I have never seen it this small on any other car before and I have seen, worked on, dismantled about 10 thousand cars

Folks, Rare(holden'n'ford garbage)Spares have squat for VW's and this has always been so. That trim piece is Kombi only in both its pattern, profile and size but unfortunately, never cared for ripping this particular piece from cars. Have just about everything else though.

I had a look today at Centre Road Wreckers, which used to have several T2 Kombis, now they have none (OK, one very stripped T 2.5), so no luck.
They do have a couple of reasonable nick Macpherson strut (3-bolt) beetles, one still on its wheels.
