Thats not bronze's old drop bear.
It's micks old baja he made up while he was rebuilding the blue manx you see in the pics.
He is the golly wog looking guy with the sunnies standing between sez's buggy and the baja.

there will be nothing to go up to that end of the beach to see when its all gone.

I didn't realise I put up a pic of my cat Claude😂. He's ready to have a game with me attack cat.
He loves that cat pole it's about 6foot tall with 6 levels.

I don't remember seeing that cat there??? Probably a good job it kept a low profile, the dogs would have chased it.

Tank Traps



The beast getting into a spot of bother.. escaped unharmed...





For some reason it looks like I took more videos than pictures... Its a pity my camera is ordinary at video compared to photos.

The Tank traps are all over the dunes.
They streatch the full length of the beach. From Stockton to Anna Bay.
Part of many old war things that surface with the sand moving around all the time.
Find heaps of bullets, anit aircraft bullets, the odd un exploded bombs still floating around up there.
The last bomb that was found up there was about 6 years ago. The tank traps come and go as the dunes move around with the wind. something you always have to keep an eye out for. they tend to hurt when you hit them at pace 😀😂

The traps were put along Stockton Beach to stop the invasion during WW2

Evidently the shape and spacing of the traps made it imposible for the tanks to get past them, that was the thinking anyway, weather it worked or not was never tested to my knowledge. The enemy could have overcome the problem easy enough by employing Heltoys' method.😀

I'm glad I didn't clip one of them when i was riding this...
