Saw you go past work the other day Matt on Abbortsford Rd. One of the guys i work with yelled at me "that Kombi has got a V8 in it" so I turned and looked to see you disappearing at a great rate of knots. I then commented on how many breakages the drive train has had and then thought that it has been a while since we have heard about anything parting company but I guess I spoke too soon....

i`ve been spitting the odd CV out here & there,,, just wasting up all the old ones from my P76 powered combi days really

i still have 2 full sets of 2nd hand ones left but i was supposedto get the porsche type inner flanges with that Lockrite diff i bought ages ago, but they wern`t in the package when it arrived,,, i feel like ringing him up & asking for them ,,, ah well,,, i`m soft hey? ;-)

so,,, i`m going to have to do something about CVs soon,,, the new Peloquin diff is """ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL""" if you havn`t got one then you just don`t know what you`re missing out on,,, they`re just sweet,,, total traction & you`d hardly know it`s in there,,, best thing i`ve bought for this car so far :-) & the wheel stands are just soooo much smoother & keeps the car quite straight in the air :-)

Sooooo,,, It looks like i`ll need to have the outer stubs/flanges made up yeah,,, that site you listed isn`t that clear,,, maybe i`ll just ring them cause i figure i should get a set of rear disc assys to suit when i do the CV swap to the porsche ones yeah???

bzzz 100% completely utterly wrong.

Lets say I'm at the traffic lights and slowly accelerate to 97kmh in a 60kmh zone. Cop sees me, I get 3 demerit points and $243 fine. phht big deal.


Now lets say I am at the traffic lights next to a new ford ute. The light turns green, we both go hard at it for 4 or 5 second street race up to the 60kmh limit and back off (which I am so sure Mr Mini man would have done) The cop saw us. He immediately suspends both our licences and impounds both our cars for 3 months. If we dont hand the keys over, its a further $2200 fine. If I do this 3 times in 5 years, the cops then own my car. I can also be charged with neg driving, driving in a dangerous manner, excessive noise.


so. you see its hardly legal. dork!
