Wanted - VW gearbox case (case only) or Kombi bell housing

My engine is out of the car and I want an empty gearbox case of even the bell housing section to bolt a T1 engine onto it so I can start the engine whilst I am still building my car. I hope this makes sense and you understand what I mean. Preferably in the Sydney area.

I think you need the belhousing of a 1800 kombi gearbox??? cheers shane.

i have a gearbox you can have for free if you want ?

Shane, does the 1800 have a separate bell housing that unbolts and I take it the engine bolt pattern is still the same.

I don't know about the bolt patterns but the 1800 kombi bell housing is separate to the gearbox (002).

The 4 engine bolt holes are the same for type 1, type 4 porsche 356, 912, 911.
