Hey seagull,
You may be able to help...my mate has a ej20 in a type3 kombi that he just bought. The motor is apparently a 96/97 although they are saying it is out of a limited edition liberty 2.0l model. No one seems to be able to locate an ecu for him. The motor is quad cam. ecu is a gen 3/f3? I will get him to post the ecu number when he gets home.

Hey Matt , yes all well at this end my boy is 10 now ( how time flys ).
The Ej20 N/A motor from what I can find were quite rare , the 2ltr quad cam motor cam I have came out of rebadged Isuzu station wagon ( JDM import half cut )
over the years I have only every seen a hand full of these closed deck 2ltr quad cam motors.
Your had best make a call to Al at AM Auto is brissy, Al may well be able to help you with a stock ecu.
