Looking for feedback on how you reckon this combo of motor would go, the idea is a lower budget and very very minimal machining. Changing my 1300 over to a 1600 with the following specs.

Counterweight Crank 69mm
lightened flywheel
85.5mm Barrels
Engle V-26 cam, (berg 309E)
stock rods
1.4 ratio rockers
mallory dizzy with vacuum and set-up advance curb
bosch blue coil
dual 40mm webers
New stock heads, with 40mm intake, 32mm exhaust
10.1 compression (there abouts)
mild port and polish, matching manifolds
sebring stainless steel exhaust (http://www.cip1.ca/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=C23%2D35171S&CartID=7)

other mods for the clutch would include a 1700lb pressure plate and a cushion-loc clutch disc.

hope it would be a bit zippy and pretty good on fuel when driven on the highway, will be giving the car a freeway flyer tranny upgrade in the future to help this.

I would skip that cam and rocker combo and put the money towards a 94mm barrel kit 1916cc, (don't be scared to do some machining, its worth it) run stock valved 040 heads with an Engle 110 cam, drop the compression to 8.5 to 1 and it would make a great street engine and it will pull that freeway flyer gear box better than 1600cc and still be good on fuel. also just run a stock disc with a 1700 pressure plate or a good German one.

How much usually is it to get a case bored out for 94mm barrels & pistons?

Few hundred dollars I think.

when you say stock valved do you mean 33 in, 30 out or 35 in 32 out?

what do you see as the drawbacks of the cam and rocker combo, even given it could be 1914cc?
