is it worth buying a pannelvan kombi and cuting out spots for windows so it has 8 windows all up instead of 4, what would the costs be? will it look right?, has anyone done this and been successful

erm are you saying that you want to buy a panel van kombi with no holes in the orig panels and cut holes in the orig panels that still are in the bus??
if thats the case then it maybe a better idea to get a microbus window standard and let the panel go to someone who looking for one yeah..
if not put a pic up of what your looking at so others can give you some thoughts yeah
cheers paul

🙅.....get a micro and leave/trade/swap/sell the panel to someone who wants one

I wouldn't expect that this would be a financially sensible way of doing it. These days a decent panel is likely to be worth the same as a similar kombi.
Also keep in mind that panelvans (21xxx chassis numbers) don't have the mounts for passenger seats, in the floor. At least, neither of mine do ('67 and '69). To put them in would technically require engineering certificates. Technically.
Start with a kombi or micro dude!

go buy a micro the Panel is more rarere than the micro as they were used by trades people and are probally nearly all dead nowdays

dont do it dude, panels are way too cool for windows.....buy a microbus/ camper and hack that up!!!
