Discs are available new at a reasonable cost.

Both discs and calipers can be sourced from local vw suppliers for a more reasonable amount than buying second hand and refurbishing and machining rotors.Check Tooleys ,classic veedub,vintage etc. You may be surprised.

Got some second hand disc and calipers for a Bay in resonable condition.
Would sell the lot for 100 bucks.
