Interesting
Have been offered this one for $2k the guy that owns it has been transfered from Karratha to Qld and can only take his Buggy. Cant get in the thing as it is full of spares and other bits and pieces. Has been sitting in his shed for close to 10 years. Might be a good investment for future?. i HAVE A NICE 1835 I COULD DROP IN IT AND SURE IT WOULD BE VERY SCARY.

There are problems with Purvis Eurekas.

The top of the windscreen is very low.

I could not drive one as I sit tall and the top of the windscreen is right in front of my eyes. To see under the windscreen top I need to uncomfortably hunker down even if the seat is a close to the floor as is possible.

If you are tall, I think that you will have the same problem. I'm 5 feet 10 inches or 178 cm tall.

If I owned a Eureka I would take off the roof and fit a roll bar and a separate windscreen or aeroscreens and use it as a fair weather car.

As vw54 says they are very claustrophobic and they are really hot in summer as you are in a glass house.

Also the front end is a bit low and the bottom of the headlights can be below the minimum legal height.

The only solution is to fit adjusters that will raise the front end and soften the ride a bit.

Like many dune buggies, the front end of a Eureka is very firm as the suspension is up on the stops and the rear has just the right amount of bounce. That does not make for either a comfortable or really safe ride.
