Just putting some feelers out there for an old looking - crusty - beetle flying VW emblem. Ideally it would be straight and not broken, but yucko chrome is preferred.

I have one that is just what you are after - slightly ratty but still all in one piece.
I must say, that is THE COOLEST VW accessory i have ever seen. I would buy one in an instant if I could put it on my 74' beetle but it doesnt have the screw holes for it...Is there a safe way to do that?
