A mate from work ended up with a spare set of throttle bodies off a Honda Blackbird CBR 1100 after troubleshooting a flat spot he was having (turned out to be an injection issue). I have seen how some people adapt these for use on volkies, so offered to put them up here in case anyone wanted to go that route and wanted a cheap set. Just a quick search of Shoptalkforums show various people doing a similar conversion.

From a rough and ready measurement, the butterflys are 43mm (remember EFI throttle bodies flow more than the equivalent carb - is off a 160HP bike) and the distance between centre lines is about 85mm. The 4 throats separate into 2x2 barrels as per IDFs etc. Personally I think it would be a complex conversion, but if you are up for the challenge then this is a cheap way to start. No fuel rail (you could either use the built in motorcycle injector bosses or weld some car injector bosses into the manifold) or TPS, but those should be cheap and easy to pick up 2nd hand.
