for interior: minimise UV and heat exposure. (tinted windows, those shiny foil sun cover things on windscreen when not driving.) non-silicone based dash protectants on vinyl is good.
For exterior: canubra wax (mothers is good). protects from oxidation, protects from turning dull

For you just use good old hair dye, works for me 馃槀馃槀 And the mutt just keep him out of the sun or make a coat for him馃槀
