I am about to book the next trip to the US and would like to invite any person along that may want to join me . I will be leaving on Friday 28th may and will head directly to Sacramento for the Bugorama for the car show/swapmeet and drag racing . I will than head south to be at the Pomona swapmeet on the next weekend with a few vw and performance parts shops on the way . The following Thursday is the start of the 4 day VW classic weekend with a car show/octo show/berg rally/swapmeets and other activities .
I will again be flying with V Australia direct from Sydney to San francisco and airfares at the moment are $ 1046 return . I will be returning from Los Angeles to Sydney on Monday 14th June , ROD.

I have arrived in the US and am in Bakersfield at the moment . I will catch up with the VW Paradise crew tonight at the test sesion for the Bugorama in Sacramento this weekend . I will also catch up with DasDubber and the family over the weekend and will probably go to the Outback Steakhouse to get some half decent food , ROD.

Hey Rod, have just arrived in LA (fun 13 hour flight with a 2 year old who had 1 hour sleep!), flying up to san fransisco tomorrow then drive to SAC for arvo/evening session of racing. Will see you there!

Hey guys , all going well over here . I now have a CB fuel injected turbocharged 2400cc Autocraft engine for sale . I purchased it yesterday out of a sand rail and is complete from the exhaust to the dry sump tank and braided lines . I expect this 330 hp engine will go for around $ 7500 landed if you are interested . I also have a van full of shit from the swap meet @ Sacramento that will come in handy someday . I am out visiting suppliers for the next couple of days before I am hoping to see Mario Traveres from Pauter and his 1200 hp turbocharged sand rail on the vw paradise dyno , ROD .

Hey guys , all going well so far , I will look forward to seeing all of the other dozen or so Aussies that landed today . I am heading out to Pomona swap meet tomorrow and Sunday to see how much more stuff I can buy . I dropped 4 pallets of parts off today at the shipper and am only 1/3 of the way through the trip . I have had a very good week and have picked up so many new products that will come in handy for us . There are some big new things happening in the vw performance scene that will be released in the next couple of months . I will post some more info in a couple of days and get a race up-date from Irwindale raceway next Wednesday night as this is the start of the 5 days of vw classic fun , ROD .

I am now back home and am almost ready to start taking calls . Friday would be good if it can wait until then . This was the most productive and one of the best trips yet in the last 18 years of fast food and fast vw's . I have almost 32 pallets of parts leaving in the next week or so and will be really looking forward to remembering just what I have purchased . I have a shit load of new products to try and use before I will sell them and the amount of good used racing parts will definatley help others with a budget for Warwick this year . It was good to see so many other Aussies in a crowd that just seem to enjoy themselves so much . I am so out of energy that I will start posting some products in the next week or so , ROD.
