Saw this article about a infamous Beetle, now on display in a museum in the US.

Amazing that the cops didn't scrap it once he was executed, and it was no longer needed as evidence.

that poor bug keeps getting passed around
it sold in the mid 90s for about $30k US in that state
interior is pretty well gutted

last i heard the lead singer of korn owned it
good to see its atleast in a museum now where it belongs

Hi

It was part of many criminals profile to drive a VW of some sort.

At least now its in a museum the crappy beam front end cant hurt anybody, just need to convert the rest of the world to struts & irs
