I have just been trying to find a creak in the front suspension of my beetle and i discovered that front struts are stuffed.
Does anyone have any suggestions for redily available replacements?

i have a set of both stock and lowered struts in taree.

are you a 2 bolter or a 3 bolter

Try spraying WD40/silicon over the spring
Is there oil over the insert/strut
ie is it leaking

they are the 3 bolt ones.
theres no oil in the strut and the shaft is rubbing on the housing
