Parts compatability database?

Hi,
Me again...asking more questions...lol

Has anyone got a pdf or excell file...perhaps word document that has the interchangability of various parts between the various Type 1 and 2 perhaps 3 motors?

Someone has mentioned that there is such a file but I cannot seem to find it anywhere.
I think it would be good if I was out and about and I knew that a few things off one motor were interchangeable with bits off another motor.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction maybe?

No, I've never found any thing like that.....

part numbers that start with 113 and fit a beetle.....
I believe were also used on type 3 engines...

I could be wrong??...

I usually look up CIP1 or evw or aircooled.net etc websites
to see what they fit... etc

but even they have seperate [usually] part listings for either car - type 1- 2 -3 etc..

People who sell VW parts for type 1-2-3-4 may know a lot of parts that are interchangeable...

if they are selling those parts a lot..

I vaguely remember seeing a file or publication that is devoted to the interchangability of various VW parts between the various engine types.
