please help

i have got a set of single port heads (thanks Owen) to rebiuld to go on my 1500.
i have given them a good clean and removed the guides from one and i had a bad though. are these heads off a 1500.

i have measured the valve seat sizes at 34 and 30 and inside at 29 and 26.

can anyone help they seem a little small for 35 and 32 valves

is there anything else i can check to confirm what these heads are off.

thanks
Elton

They may be 1300 heads.

There should be a part number in the rocker box area.
113 101 353B should be a 1300 head an usually came with 33 inlet and 30 exhaust,
but of course may have had different valves or seats fitted since 1966!!

311 101 353A is the more common 1500 casting that originally came with the 35.5 x 32 valves.

Early bus and type 3 heads were technically 1500 heas too, but had smaller valves in some cases.
211 101 351A
211 101 353....for buses
and 311 101 353 for type 3s
One early type 3 head actually was like a 40hp port with larger valves! 311 101 351C
