What load in total ohms is required for theHV secondary of the various Bosch coils available, ie stock 12v, Red GT40, Blue (00012). Variables are: lead resistance/foot, distributor rotor with or without encapsulated resistors, spark plug connectors with or without resistance.
So, is there a principal rule when combining all the components? I am seeking some good referenced info please.

Hmmm....interesting.... no takers.

To get the most electrical output from a supply requires the electrical load to match the supply, this is a basic rule of Maximum Power Transfer principals.
I would have thought that some of the ignition gurus would be onto this principal, and how it relates to ignition HV components.

Apparently not.

Might have to try the Samba and put it out to the universe.
