How do You get the check engine light to go away. It comes on all the time but there isnt anythin wrong ive checked it all and its fine just need the light to go away.

Okay probably should of said its a toyota camry

you must have a loose wire or something.
I think on some Toyotas you just put a wire across two plugs in a little black box under the bonnet and the engine light flashers out the code.

What year Camry,
Ian is referring to the earlier 89on sv21 Camry, bridge out Te & E1 to retrieve DTC, the CEL will flash in "3"s which will indicate the DTC.
Remove or disconnect power to "wipe" things clean.
The CEL is on for a reason. Normally.

You can also try removing the negative lead from the battery and holding it against the positive lead for about 30 seconds, this will discharge any capacitors in the ECU.

yeah its on cause it needed its 300000km service which i did but the light is still on.
